My first day (if it wasn't for an 8hour lab I wouldn't go) took lots of courage, since it was my unexpected first day of period -yes at an 8hour lab, I'm THAT lucky.
But, I made it.
So thank you for all the support about my decision to become a lifeguard. I am more than ready to loose weight and can't wait any longer. I know I will never be model thin cause of my wide-skeleton (swimming remember?) but at 54 my BMI would go down to 19.8.
N's dad saw me over Christmas (he hasn't seen me for two years) and he told her (N) that he is really concerned that I am half the girl I was back then, and he insisted on N telling me to eat more. So she called me and when she told me I had the widest smile! Luckily she couldn't see me over the phone but it made me So happy! It really made my day
..that's not a healthy thing but you understand, I'm sure :)
Oh wow! It's always nice to hear you're looking thin and ANYONE who says otherwise is a liar :)
ReplyDeleteAn 8 hour lab sounds like torture, lol, I hope it went ok! x
Haha of course everyone understands that- every girl loves being told she's thin. Yay for lifeguarding!

BLEH! I'm trying to motivate myself to get out of bed and go to work right now so I understand. My condolences.
ReplyDeleteBut while it's a bit unhealthy to react that way, it makes you swell with happiness and pride for a bit, doesn't it? It's good to feel those things now and again :)
:D that phone call would of made my day too! haha. I just stumbled upon your great blog. I love it! follow me if you wish, and as always, stay stong! <3
ReplyDeleteIf someone said that to me it would make my month xD
ReplyDeleteI´m really glad you´re doing the lifeguard thing, you´ll be great at it!
xx
I'm glad I'm not the only one who likes to make a dramatic change at the beginning of school or university. And I'm also so happy when everyone returns and they haven't lost weight. Big sigh of relief.
ReplyDeleteAnd that phone call, I would have been on cloud 9 :D you must be looking amazing!
