My neurobiology presentation was quick and painless this morning! Once I got up there and the professor opened my powerpoint I took a deep breath and started explaining Huntington's disease, looking and pointing with the laser, trying to make my point. The feedback I got later on from friends was that it was easy to understand and my pictures really helped focus on the protein pathways I was trying to explain. All in all, win!!
I'm also in anxiety of tomorrow's appointment with another lab professor, in order to work at her lab next year. I hope that goes well because her lab is so interesting and it will be so relaxing to have found a lab for my graduation paper...wish me luck!

Okay, university stuff aside news. Lately I wake up with a flat stomach and spend two minutes looking and touching my ribs before getting dressed. Madness but it's already a ritual. If I don't have a flat stomach, simply don't talk to me that day, ok?
I'm also noticing that everyone has a tattoo! I don't know whether I notice them now simply because I'm having one so soon, or it's summer that reveals the inked skin on everybody. Even the lady who did my pedicure yesterday had two! I feel like joining a silent club- everyone has one, but don't make a fuss about it.

she's lovely- I simply can't stop wearing my oxfords!!

  2. Good luck tomorrow, hope it goes well.

I'd also love to get a tatoo but I could never decide on design. It's a big decision as it's there forver so I'd probably get something that means something personally to me.

    Much lovexxx
