So, as always, I'm going to start my semester by setting a new group of goals. I usually do that on my birthday, but see, all the happiness/drama/exams/alcohol got in the way so I don't recall actually writing such a post back then (June 21).
-First (and foremost) goal ever. Lose weight. My first goal is to reach 57 (-3) and then 55. Until Christmas, that is. I also have a Topshop skinny trouser which never really fitted me well (well enough to be seen in public, or be able to breathe :p) so I'm thinking of it as a motivation. I've never really used a clothing item as a motivation, cause I wear my clothes rather loose.
-Next on the list. University. This is typically my last year (year 4) on my Biology degree but I'm planning on getting a university job for another semester. So I have classes to attend, a paper to publish (SO excited!) and a neurobiology lab to work in (hopefully). So much to do.
-Oh, this is funny.. How about a boyfriend? Well, I have four guys who actually like me this period of time, and I like two of them. I'm going to dates, etc, but if you follow me enough time, you know that I'm weird and crazy by now. I have the ability (it's a skill, really) to fail EVERY relationship. Let's try and change that? Maybe with K, maybe with G.. There's laughing inside my head. I will keep you updated though, promise.
-Save some money for this Christmas's big thing. It's not a holiday. It's not a purchase. But I can't tell you what it is just yet I'm afraid. Maybe in a month or so.
These are the biggest one's, I guess. I hope for health and happiness most of all though. Cause you need both of them. For me, my family and each and every one of you :)
xx

Good luck, you'll do just fine :)

I love your goals! Good luck at university!
ReplyDeleteMilestone birthdays are for celebrating! Goalsetting is for AFTER the hangover wears off :p
ReplyDeleteI started using clothing as a motivator this year. Such a bad idea at first. I like loose clothes too, I hate tight pants. Still, I refuse to spend $400 on a new pair of motorcycle leathers when losing a few KG will make them fit again!
I like you goals. Broad enough for room to move, specific enough to be achievable. Oooh I'm excited about this paper publishing! *Crosses fingers* Can yout ell us what the paper is on?
Thank you for your comment. I'm going to keep telling the truth and I hope something good comes of all this. It's hard to believe but hey, you never know, right?
Arigatouuuuuu, arigatouuuuu, arigatouuuuu, arigatouuuuuu ;p
Take care of yourself and good luck <3
