So sweet Peridot, with all her lovely comments, insisted I should get away with not going to the lab if it's not mandatory. And then it hit me. I haven't really explained what I'm doing this summer, have I?
I took this three months course last semester, where you can pick a lab and spend time getting experience. When the time is up, you write a little essay, give it to your lab supervisor and he gives you a grade. It's like a class of your choice. Funny thing is that I chose to work on the development of the fish without caring about taking it as an actual class. Voluntarily, some might say. But when it came to tell me exactly what my job would be, I got a little more interested and decided to do the whole job and not only what I would manage in a three month time. So I figured (thank God) I should also get a mark on that (it was a 10/10!).
That's what I am doing here, finishing this project I started up on late February and getting the chance to co-write a paper (very important thing in the science world- especially for an undergrad).
In other news, I'm thinking about a makeover. I mean my style, as some of you can tell, is changing a little bit. I'm cutting out all the cuteness and I'm putting statement pieces, basic shirts and plain cut lines. But I'm also thinking about changing my hair. So my hair: it's really a love/hate thing. I really love it to be one colour but with the sun and the meetings at the salon it has now over three colours. Light brown (my natural colour), some bronze highlights (at the salon) and well, blonde shades of the sunlight. I decided -against all odds- to dye(?) them. Dark brown. I'm terrified and I will definitely ask my hairdresser first but I want them to look like in the picture down below. For winter. At least.
this is the prettiest Urban Outfitters model I've ever seen. And I've seen a lot. No joke.

Sounds like you're doing just fine :*

I literally want to throw my entire wardrobe away, earn a million dollars, and replace everything that I once had with clothes from Urban. If I could change up my style that is what I would want it to be. And you're right this model is so pretty. Maybe nobody will agree with me on this but she kind of looks like Mila Kunis I think.
ReplyDeleteSounds really good, even without the co-writing a paper. I'm kinda jealous but really good for you. You're really kicking on with your career and stuff. Letting people know that you're there is way to go girl!
ReplyDeleteChange is the theme here. I've been dreaming simple black and white, straight ad kinda rude statement style for a while now. All I need to do is to get new clothes... :3
Have a happy day <3
Ah so THAT'S what you're doing! It sounds like so much fun! Lol, for some reason I thought you were being forced in there to do research or assignments or force uninterested n00bs to follow proper method. Will you tell us what you find out if you find something really awesome? Please?
ReplyDeleteIf you pick a brown that is darker than your natural shade it should go over it all very nicely. When it washes out of the lighter sections it'll give you a nice tonal effect on the base shade. Just dye it evenly. Mum did a horrible job of my last cover-up-darker-dye so big chunks washed out randomly instead of coming out of the highlights >.<
Holy tits of the Vestals that girl is gorgeous. So much envy going on here right now, but I could still stare at her all day! Stare into her eyes all day? only if there's something to talk to behind them!
