Well, long time (really long time) no see.
I have been m.i.a for such a long time I forgot how to make a proper post. So I'll just right my thoughts down and update you, and hope someone is still reading this and maybe remembers me. I am still doing my master's degree, which I hate. Still in London, which I love and wouldn't change it for the world. And I'm still in need of vacation.
The master is not going well, to be honest. I find it difficult and in some aspects, boring. But my dissertation would be awesome, so I am really excited for this! If I try to look on the bright side, I always do very well at working with people, and least well on exams. But work is all that matters in the end. As long as I get my degree, I can forget every tear that I cried this year (melodramatic I know, but I struggle). Mid of May I start my project and that's all I am looking forward to.
Also, I am changing my eating habits a bit. I am trying to stay healthy with limiting the binging incidents (hello, Dominos).
So for two weeks now, I try to keep a vegetarian/vegan lifestyle in the house, and then have anything I feel like when I'm out to dinner- which doesn't happen that often. I am NOT going vegan or vegetarian due to health issues, and honestly because I don't feel like limiting my options. But staying healthy in the house (where the binging happens) is really important. Thinking about it when I grocery shop, or when lunch time has come, keeps me from a lot of 'trouble'.
So, morning smoothies and coffee, big salads and nuts, almond butter with dates (this is heaven) and lots of fresh fruit. Sweet potato 'fries' and lemon water. Lots of lemon water. And I feel healthy.
Let's see if beauty truly comes from within
(hint: it really does).

Omg almond butter and dates sounds amazingggg. I can't find almond butter anywhere in my little corner of Spain - it's all peanuts, and I'm terribly allergic to that u.u
ReplyDeleteI like the idea of health in the house - Feeling like you are in a fresh healthy body after eating well is just so refreshing, especially if your body is feeling sluggish from binging, meh.
Good luck on your Masters and your project ^-^
Take care
Mandy xx
It must be nice to have a project. My life is one long vacation and believe me, it's not as nice as it sounds.
